Super Jet need some help picking an extended ride plate

I am a tall rider also. I am 6'5" 235 lbs and I have the R&D ride plate. It is plenty long for me, but sometimes I wonder if a wider plate would help me out. I know Rick Roy has some longer ones. You may want to contact him. They also make hull extensions, but that can change the turning of the...

What to look for when buying a used ski.

Hey guys, I am looking at buying a 2009 used kawasaki sxr. It has a broken handlepole and thats all that is wrong with it. I was wondering what I should look at to see if there has been any major damage done to the ski? I wanted him to drive it to a local repair shop that is 30 min form...

What is it about these sponsons that cause them to ride differently in calm water? I don't fully understand this. Exactly what do they cause the ski to do?

    blowsion destroyer tubbies?

I ordered a set last week for my '00 sj. They should be in sometime this week. I am concerned about how they'll handle riding on the river. I ONLY ride on the river and generally cruise around to the calm areas and ride there. It seems that they can can effect the handling on calmer conditions...

How is a superjet not designed to race?? I know a guy who used to race them in a pro class and he can still leg drag and run buoys? Elaborate on the type of ride plate. I have this one now, but I think mine is an older model: http://www.xbjracing.com/pro/jetski/SuperJet_files/122-70102.jpg...

    Help the tall guy's ski.

I had a square nose when I was younger that I rode a lot. However, I grew a good bit and also filled out in the past several years and since then haven't ridden as much. To answer the question I have ridden a lot. I think I need to further clarify. I can do simple slower turns... 20-30 miles...

    Help the tall guy's ski.

This is my second ski. My first was a square nose. I get really low when I turn and sometimes my a$$ will even hit the water. I am far better at left turns than right turns. EME used to sell a ride plate for tall riders, but I can't get a hold of any one there. Here it is on the right column...

    Help the tall guy's ski.

Hello, I am new to this forum and wanted some advice from you all. I am a tall rider, about 6'5" and weigh about 230 give or take. I am having a hard time stabilizing the ski on turns because I am so tall. It either wants to skid out or tip over. Here is the info for my ski: 2000 super...
