here is the before and after pics of the footholds. the FIRST picture shows water dawgs stock without being trimmed, and the SECOND picture is the water dawgs cut out to help my ankle rubbing.
it almost seems as if they were designed for a wide tray. my feet are about shoulder width a part in and they rubbed bad on my upper ankles. Maybe waterdawg needs to come out with a foot holds II, hey redesigned version.
and.... cutting the stock ride plate did raise the nose of the ski up, but it porpoises so much worse than before at high speeds. i'm probably going to get an extended ride plate for the type of riding i am doing.
i finally got to test out the footholds out 2 weeks ago but they did not like my ankles! i tore the turf off the next day and cut the footholds up to make them more comfortable. i cut the tops out and re-glassed them, and i am now adding padding. i should have done this before hand but i never...
will the Blowsion SXR Billet exhaust nozzle fit a 750 SX? i want to add a little bling to my ski and i think they are pretty sweet. are there any other decent exhaust nozzles on the market?
i cut the stock one up and put it back on my ski. i traced a half circle using a roll of duct tape as my template and cut it using a jig saw. i was going to buy an extended ride plate this spring anyway, so it wasn't hard to cut the stock plate just to try out.

i might try to D cut the stock plate and extend the rear, i have a alum welder at my shop that should do the trick. are there any good threads on cutting the stock ride plate?
i did not add any padding before my turf, due to my budget and me being "thrifty" i didn't want to spend the money on it. i was originally going to make my footholds to, but i didn't think the time involved was worth it.
i rode a 650 with the waterdawgs last simmer. they fit well so thats why i decided to use them and thats also why i left them unchanged. i am also using the same turf the 650 has.
i applied the first coat this morning. it's drying VERY slow so i'm hoping a can apply the second coat tonight.
i put a block off kt on a few weeks back and have been meaning to mess with the oil tank so while waiting for the resin to dry i cut up the oil tank and made it into a fire...
