After placing my order 45 days ago, being told that I should have my ski in October, I called the dealer Monday and got the "I dont know, let me call" answer.... The dealership didnt call me back for a couple of days so I called Yamaha direct. They are telling me that it could be the end of next month before I see a new ski.

Has anyone heard anything different? I should get my ski just in time to freeze my *ss off....

I got a all from Yamaha yesturday, and it looks like my ski will arrive TODAY... Still holding breath, but what a nice trick or treat!

I called Blowsion yesturday, and after alot of help, some good knowledge, and a large credit card bill, my new ski will be set up nicely. thanks for the customer service, I appreciated the help!

I hope that everyone else waiting for a new ski will have the same luck this week!

Well, I guess its ok...... Actually, It was well worth the wait. One of the big things I did find is that it has a tendancy to kind of porpus left to right at mid throttle. I got on Jayares 02', and it has a completely different feel. In a turn, the new ski is 100% more stable. really holds a line well. the ski feels really solid, and doesnt have some of the sketchy feel that his ski has. I will get the pics posted this morning. Thanks.

personally after listening to the new "advances" I am glad I got the 07... but that's just me.... I'm sure it will still need $2000+ of mods to make it really fun... I will definately be interested in riding one someday if I get a chance! So anyone know the deal with the fixed trim system like I posted above???

There was one down at Body Beach yesterday. I was watching a guy carve the buoys and it did not look like a stock SJ going around the buoys. He had no registration or any stickers on the ski, it looked brand new. I went over and talked to him and sure enough he had just picked it up at Walts Motorsports. It looked like a SXR going though the water. The guy said he really liked it and he had a SXR and squarenose SJ also. It has some big ass sponsons molded into the sides that almost go full length. I cant wait to see them race with SXR's and to be a new freestyle platform.

:headbang:The Superjet is back!!!!

Not the new one. Rode one today- it was so fun and needs nothing.

So It doesn't need a scoop grate, footholds, b-pipe, re-enforcing, lowered pole bracket, shotened handle pole, bilge pumps, scupper drain, lightened flywheel, milled head, hood straps, primer kit, Hydro Turf.............

Can it do this out of the box without any of that?
