maybe it's the shaved gas cap that's throwing me off....but the nose looks longer than normal. Is that where they extended the topdeck to mate with the longer spx bottom?

the hull looks like a blaster hull with a seadoo pump retrofitted. cant tell 100% but i cant see fitting the spx hull on the blaster top. its badass either way.

Its definately a Yamaha pump. The hull is also an X4 style hull but they had to narrow & shorten the lower half to make this work. This would certainly be much easier with an aftermarket (shell) bottom (like a bullit SD hull).

This biggest issue I see with it (in theory) is the motor location (very forward for an X4 hull) and the weight of the motor will cause far more weight on the front then was originally engineered for. This thing looks like it would be scary to turn hard around bouys. For an X4, this "looks" like 10" to 12" forward engine placement (then multiply all the extra weight).

This is certainly bad ass work.

ps. Did anyone else notice the VERY long mid-shaft that is not supported like they are on all Yamaha's. It goes right to coupler. That motor better have very stiff motor mounts because any vibration or torque with such a long shaft will get amplified at the rear bearing housing (if it even has one).
