Windsor is not 80 or stagnent.

Well in July and August the water can easily become 80+ in that area. As far as stagnant, it gets constantly stirred by boats that time of year. Thats what i dont understand, unless it got stirred off the bottom in like 1 ft or less of water. Dunno, sucks though.

He was swimming in a back slough near Windsor...really sad.

Not to bring up this sad subject again but:

I just found out he was a Mesquite Bay fishing pier area(on London Bridge rd) not at Windsor tate park beach areas like the Lake Havasu City papers says in the link I first posted.
That would explain the slough conditions even better as there are some real shallow coves and nasty swampy cattail areas around there. I dont even think swimming is allowed there. He was way off the beaten path and I dont know why anybody would want to swim there when its that hot out. :dunno:

two people died here also, in the highland lakes area of central texas..

80+ stagnent water.....only if you get it in your nasal passages....so diving or putting your head in shallow water after stirring up the bottom is no bueno...
