144 Mag to small for 967?

I am looking into a ET 967. I have a 144 mag pump that I would like to keep in the ski. Will the mag load enough for the motor or will I need to step up to a 155? Thanks

Go OEM 155 any day!! i cannot stress how happy i was with my swap from 144mag to 155 OEM, on a DASA SS 850 PV with the works.
The 967 would be more powerfull than my old dasa i guess. If you can accommodate the 155 pump, no question IMO.
Yes the 144 or 148 might perform good, but im willing to bet that you will have a good gain with a OEM 155 pump :)

i have the same motor as you and currently have a 12 vein 144 mag, do you think the oem 155 would be a good upgrade? if so what all is needed to swap this in? i assume you are running a big hub impeller at the least right?

The 144 mag with correct prop for your motor will work just fine, the 148 even better, 155 best. Oem pump may work for flatwater, but for best hookup especially in the surf or chop mag pumps are much better.

So if I wanted to step up to a 148 pump I would just need a stator, wear ring and prop correct? I can still use my 144 nozzle and trim set up also my driveshaft?

I don't want to go 155 due to the fact of having to get a whole new trim set up. It seems to me that a 148 with 967 bore motor a lot of people are happy with.

It will all work on a non set back pump, if you get a set back pump then you'll need a set back driveshaft and bearing build kit

Correct same driveshaft with 148 nonsetback pump, same trim and nozzles.
