155 reduction nozzle with Xmetal trim question

What 155 reduction nozzle is everyone using with their Xmetal trim system? I just tried modifying one off of a Raider, but I had to grind it paper thin and it's no longer useable. And that's at standard bore! Any suggestions? Or does anyone have one that's already modded and ready to go that they want to sell?

off the top of my head 65U is the upsweep nozzle, cant remember the straight. Yes they get pretty thin I have a few here at 89mm bore and have seen larger. You almost have to angle cut the bottom of the nozzle to allow the ring to clear. so take material off the end and not entirely off the wall. Did I send you pics on Facebook?

Yea, I got the pics. I did exactly that, but it still wasn't close. I ended up taking my ski to Corey's house to finish the build and his nozzle even looks a little different.

Well the Xscream trim mod to utilise it on 155mm pump is not bolt on. loads of mods is needed.
On top of my head is.
Cut back the exit nozzle
Grind "stringer" on top and bottom of the exit nozzle
Grind the bolt surfaces on exit nozzle to accept trim ring
Grind inside trim ring to just move freely.

If you don't grind off the bottom stringer it will act as a trim ring stop which will help prevent stretching of the trim cable (unless you weld on a makeshift stop). My reduction nozzle is bored to 90.35 mm and Thrust steering nozzle is bored to 93.35...XM trim.

Do you have any pics of your setup? I was curious if a thrust steering nozzle would work with the x metal trim. Is yours 155 also?

If you get me a nozzle I can make it fit for you. I've done a few now.
