Freestyle 180 slide to flip - trim vs no trim?

Preferences and why?
Trim cable broke a while ago and waiting on parcel with TI trim system in it. I'm managing to do clean flips with no trim, does that mean my technique is good?

I have noticed on setup wakes the less trim I give it the more height. That being said your rotation Is slower. I have never done a slide to flip, only hop to flip. I always use trim although I am trying to get away from it. If you are landing without trim yeah I'd say your form is pretty good lol.

I think I am the only person in the country doing flatwater freestyle, so all is self taught, no-one with experience around to critique me. Just gotta keep trying new things

I only use trim for setup wakes. I don't use trim to flip. You can control how fast you rotate by how hard you pull the bars too. I do no trim off idle flips just pull harder

But your nozzles have a static of 15 degrees trim up.

Yes - is just some guys think they give 10 or 15deg the exit alone.
