So i finally got my first two jet skis!

One is a 2007 Kawasaki Ultra LX (More for the wife)

and i got my first stand up, 99 Kawasaki 750 SXI Pro, seem pretty well built!

MODIFICATIONS include: New Moto Tassanari carbon fiber intake reeds, New battery, New fresh water flush kit, 860cc Wiseco big bore motor, Wiseco pistons, Coffman exhaust pipe, MSD coil, MSD ignition, MSD stator, custom head with dual water outlets, copper head gasket, electronically controlled water injection, aluminum flywheel, race crankshaft, modified turbine prop, electric internal bilge pump with waterproof switch.

Yeah, thats copied from the add i bought it from, but im exited to get it in the water and see what its capable of! Still in afghanistan for a few more weeks, but once i get home its gonna be a good summer!!!

Well, the 2nd time i had it out (the SXI) snapped the drive shaft. Being a total noob to jet skis, but faily mechanically inclined i figure i can tackle this problem myself. But, that being said, i would love some advice if anyone has ever had to replace a drive shaft on a Kawi SXI Pro. I would have posted this in the Tech section but i think being such a noob to the forum, i dont have the permissions to do so. Anyone know of any good places to get some stronger than OEM drive shafts?

Thanks

No real advice just take your time as you pull the motor and take pictures just in case you forget how it went together. I'm curious to how you snapped a driveshaft. do you have pictures of where it snapped? Also given that it is a pro you have to use a pro driveshaft the sx and sxi's are a little shorter.
