650/X-2 2 x2's with trailer for $800?

Found 2 x2's for 800 with trailer. Supposedly they run, that's really all I know about them. Anything to be weary of? Is this a good deal? Thanks
Oh and this will be my first pwc adventure lol but I race dirtbikes and am mechanically inclined

sounds like a good deal trailer in good shape?
check compression, and do not let him put oil in before you do will screw with your nujmbers

if possible ride it before you buy it especially if you never ridden one bfore x-2 fun

What year are they? It could be a very good deal if in good condition, but they could also need a lot of $$$ and work to get them in shape. The owner wont tell you if they were sitting around full of water before they gottem runnin to sell.

I have no idea what kinda shape they're in. Haven't talked to the selles yet, calling them tomorrow. If there was water in them what problems would that cause?

thats exactly how my original motor was that came in my x2 sold it off right away now i have a 93 650 in runs like a charm =)
