Who did the case work. Also if was running perfect before inspection whats wrong with pistons that need new ones? What kind of pistons are they. Thanks

They are pro x, I was thinking the same thing. I usually just put new ones in every year. I also thought people would like to see the porting before they buy it. I am going to re-assemble it tonight. @MTRHEAD did the case work.

what size domes and who did the porting of the top end?

@Setbrew45 the domes in it right now started out 38cc but once I cut my squish gap in to them they were way too high compression so I cut my own shape in the center and opened it up. It’s more of a bath tub shape than the normal hemi shape. I have a set of unmolested 42cc domes that once the squish was cut in to them I think the compression would be close and someone ( or me) could experiment with different head shapes

To be honest I haven’t, I have a tpe964 that I have been mainly focusing on and have left this motor on the back burner

I’ve run a ported 701, this 800 motor, and now the tpe, I’d say the 800 motor is about right in the middle of the two but is more snappy right off the bottom. The port timings on the 800 are set more for freestyle mid-range power. I’m also still playing with props on the tpe and think I’m still a bit over propped

Yup it has very good top end rip and yet still very responsive off the bottom. It has 182 deg exh duration and like 122 int duration if that helps. If you want more top yet you could raise the exh port a couple mm but I really don’t think it needs it. I had it in an eme last year and never could top it out but those hulls are pretty squirrelly. I’ve been very happy with the setup this motor gave and honestly been thinking selling my tpe and just running this motor but the tpe is sick too....lol
