How do you guys like the 08 ~ 09 SuperJet hull handling compared to the older round nose?

What would you change on the hull to improve its overall performance and handling?


• Wider front section with built in sponsons
• Narrow rear end section
• 50mm setback pump assembly
• Extended front nose section
• Deeper chines further setback
• Intake tract smoothed out flat

new superjet handling

The cornering and lean in is better, but the high speed straight line feels very sketchy. Overall hard to ride well. The bow also pushes in at speed and throttle let off bow plows hard!

i didnt like the riding style on the 08, i ride mainly freshwater, seemed its geared for either chasing bouys or surf, neither of which suited my riding

FWIW I rode one last week and loved it. I felt the pole and steering needed some love but other than that I thought it hooked up great and felt line and fun as hell to ride.

So I would say -3" steering system and maybe make the gunnies more narrow (widen the tray) and it would be perfect! IMO.

I bought a new 2010 in the beginning of the summer and love it way more then my old 96. The steering isn't the most desired but relocating the ball on the steering nozzle has improved it enough for now.

Here we have two superjet 2008, we tried to make this hull a bit more playful, because too buoy oriented.

So We added a pair of sponsons Tubbies 2 in addition to the original, cut the stock handlepole 3-inch , changes the position of the ball sterring joints, cut the back plate and keeps the scoop stock.
strengthened by the outside , the rear sides and produces a reinforcement of nose goes to below the hull, which protects it from the reef passages.

It gives him a little more rocker aditional.

So this hull, which seemed more race oriented, is perfect for freeriding if we adds a few horses.

our engines are 760 ported , B pipe, V force, Msd, ADA head and single mikuni 46, and some more....
