I called Yamaha Customer Relations on my search. They were not able to tell me which dealers ordered the Superjet. However they were able to give me more dealers than the online list gave me. I found my SJ by calling all the dealers in my region. I finally lucked out when a local dealer was willing to locate and go pick it up for the same price as the one I found 150 miles away from me.

It was really frustrating in my search. I called Yamaha Customer Relations a couple times to express my frustration about some of thier dealer unwillingness to help. The 08' are out there, you just need get one of your dealers to call his factory Rep to find one. Most of them don't want to take the time and call for a boat that doesn't have much profit in it for them.

Call Riva Yamaha or Greater Yamaha. They had the best prices when I called. They also maybe willing to ship too.

no crap... its like pulling teeth with twezers to get them to do anything. i called about it 3 days ago. (just to see if it came in) they had said it was coming in on monday then for sure tuesday well its wed. i called them earler today just to see if maybe it came in. they said they would call me back. would have been nice to even say ohh it hasnt arrived yet. i meen its only been almost 4 weeks. could that be it?

I started talking to a dealer this last January to line up my '08. It was hell to keep him on board that I was serious buyer. My suggestion is to order the boat still in the crate. those monkeys at Bob Lamphere's in Portland, OR who took mine out the crate did some considerable damage to the bottom of the hull and paint.
