Super Jet 2010 SJ carb adjusting ??

I'm putting my b-pipe on soon, and I know i'm going to have to adjust my carb and install my main jet, but I heard that on the 08 and up SJ they put plugs on the high and low speed screws. Does anybody have any tips with this etc? maybe a small how too?

thanks

Do you have a slide hammer meant for auto body? That would make easy work of them. Drill a pilot hole, thread in the slide hammer and pop them out.

Otherwise, try drilling a hole, thread a screw threw then with a carpenter's hammer try pulling them out.

Good luck.. Its not fun and I just did them on mine

so with enough force those plugs pop off? i can get a hold of a slide hammer if thats the case. once the plugs come off is it easy to turn the screws or am i going to have to modify them?

Once the plugs are off, you're home free. I never personally tried the slide hammer. I always thought it was a good idea and unfortunately my dad was borrowing it when I had to do the carbs. Let me know how it works!

Drill a tiny hole and pull them out with a screw. The caps are painted black. I highly recommend to get those adjusting screws with handles for easy and accurate adjustment. I did not change the spring, only the jets and the ski has been good to me since then..
