SOLD 2012 Rickter XFS Jet Maniac 781 $9,000- Kalamazoo, Michigan

2012 fiberglass Rickter XFS with originally a 771 Jet Maniac (1 mm over on top end during full rebuild 2 winters ago) which I believe puts it around a 781cc now? Roughly 7 tanks/ 35 gallons run through it since full rebuild, just too many skis and not enough time to ride any of them, I prefer to run my Reaper in surf and most of the time with my main riding group we are just on flat water and no wake boats around for any fun. Selling this only due to buying a buoy ski recently for our primarily flat water riding and need to free up space and cash, otherwise I wish I could hold onto it because it is fun when I can line up boats to throw a wake for me.

Fun ski for Lake Michigan surf or chasing boats with the 5 gal tank or if you have regular access to friends with wake boats or yacht traffic for flips, great to learn on or for someone who wants a ski that they won't mind sharing with friends! Test rides available with cash in hand, if its too cold for you then I'll happily jump on and take it for a spin in front of you before the lakes freeze solid.

Most of this info is per the previous seller's ad, some are things that I've done to it:
-781cc? Jet Maniac- roughly 7 tanks on full rebuild. Pretty punchy motor for what it is.

-148mm Torrent set back mag pump, Skat 7/12 impeller, freestyle cone with tapered bore 66e nozzle.

-Jet Maniac HD ignition with MSD enhancer

-Ported B-pipe with mod chamber and V-force reeds

-5 gallon Cold Fusion tank

-RRP Adjustable footholds, RRP billet pole with FRI limiting tether, RRP steering with bushing upgrade (greased it regularly too) chin pad, RRP hood pad, slight riser bars

-Thrust Innovations trim

-Padded tray with turf in decent condition

-Rhaas motor mounts (replaced when I bought)

-ADA billet drive coupler (replaced when I bought it)

-RRP top loader grate

-Bottom of hull has been professionally painted solid black to get rid of beach rash from previous owner (old pics with Red X on bottom). There is some bunk rash and aluminum stand rash again now but overall in great shape (shown in the more recent flip pictures).

-Dual bilges on a handle bar mounted switch which like to work most of the time, but not always. Brand new when I did the motor rebuild, I believe they are Rule 500s or possibly the Walmart knock off 800gph, can't remember since I buy both for all my skis depending on the rush.

-Cold Fusion midshaft housing and midshaft spacer plate.

-Thrust adjustable hood latch, Cold Fusion billet hood hooks (inserts are loose on one but still holds tight), hood safety straps.

-Standard AGM battery, nothing fancy. A lithium battery and smaller tank might be the ticket to flat water flips for an experienced rider.

-ODI lock on grips, most of the tread on them is gone but still tacky.

-X Metal water box

-fuel primer and adjustable flow valve

-dual cooled

-Glass with some kevlar reinforcement I believe, mainly a repair done by one of the previous owners from what I can tell plus possibly some preventative reinforcement. Usual wear and tear with clear coat stress cracking, one actual crack on the starboard side nose on the outer shell but still not soft through (see pics). The previous seller hid it with one if his many many stickers, it got a little worse when I peeled it off, I band-aided it with another sticker for the few years I've owned it and the crack never got worse other than peeling off more paint below the crack when I removed my sticker for ad photos (I have nothing to hide unlike the previous). Some clear coat missing on hood and near hood line which appears to have been eaten away by some of the adhesive previous seller's obnoxious number of stickers). I can text or email a cloud link to a walk around video of the hull showing everything, but its all typical wear and tear to be expected. It has been very reliable for me, the only thing I can't count on 100% are the bilges. I always cover it if I leave it on a lift for the week and it spends winters in my heated warehouse.

Located in Kalamazoo, Michigan. $9,000 cash preferably, but will consider partial trades plus cash for a 2015+ Honda or Kaw 250F or Husqvarna or KTM 300 two stroke dirt bike I suppose if that helps make a deal quicker. Not interested in shipping right now, but willing to drive a few hours to meet someone part way if necessary.

I got to ride this ski on Saturday and it was powerful and play full and probably above my riding abilities. Owner is a class act and was always nice and honest about the ski so when I got to ride it there was no surprises, other then my old back not being able to handle it. The next owner will be happy with a fully capable freestyle ski.

Thanks, Eric! Glad we made it out and had a fun afternoon even though the ski wasn’t right for you! Nice to see more people that aren’t afraid of 38 degree water either!

I appreciate the kind words!

FYI, 46.5 mph on GPS in case anyone ever wondered
