Super Jet 2013 Freshy! new to this all

Welp the drz400 is sold and a $1000 has been given, a 2013 superjet will be at my doorstep in a week or two (i live in Canada and there hard to get) cousin lent me his Fx-1 and i got right into it!
Come from wakeboarding and motocross.
Gonna have pics of the sj and the mods as they begin also videos!

After the FX1 you may not like a superjet! Haha, pretty sure from the video that some weeds are making that pump cavitate or else the prop is very worn, its bouncing off the rev limiter too much!

The impeller was Demod! put a new one in and a ride plate, woke that thing right up. became an arm ripper
But yaa Ive tried an 09 rn with a protek wake up kit, was very nice. still like how light the fx1 is.. too bad theres none forsale around me

Just make sure you learn your new girls personality before you start modding her to all hell. I see two bilges and some 0 degree bars....you are pretty much good to go.


Oh and after you ride her a while you'll have to decide between footholds and or footstraps.

Im thinking in the fall put digger foot holds, with blowsion stitched inserts, 8mm plush undermat and black orange diamond turf. Maybe one strap at the front

for the rest of the year I'm gonna ride it stock.. Still waiting for it to come tho..

Nice. Heads up on the 2 tone turf. There's a lot of accounts of it ripping and fading very fast. Might want to stick to solid molded diamond for the bottom and 2 tone for the sides and tops of gunwales if you want it to stay pretty!

the stock mat/turf is pretty damn good on new superjets. custom is cool as well but on the other hand you're not going to see many of those '13s around

I would ditch the after market filters and put the stock box back on.

You mean keep the stock air filter? I haven't put the tornado filters on yet but they should be better. Idk any reason why?

The stock flame arrestor system works way better to prevent water ingestion
