We ask everyone to respect the beach. All
rules governed by the State Parks Dept. are still in effect during the event.
Please pack it out if you pack it in. Help us to minimize the impact on the
Grayland beach. Avoid soft beach areas with your vehicles as a tow can be very
costly. Please park clear of the ribboned off area and leave room for cars to
get through. Watch this website for changes and future details or information.

Is this similar to the SurfSlam event where it is open riding for non-competitors? Have been to surfslam for the last 4 years but never attended the Grayland ride and want to hit it this year

Usually a bit smaller, and without those pronounced heavier surf zones you get at Tierra. Grayland seems to break the same within the mile people are normally riding in.

It's official I will be there with one other rider from Boise!!! Can't wait, I haven't ridden surf since last years surf slam, one of the down sides to living inland.

This contest this year was nuts!! Best riding thats been on that beach EVER. But now myself Tanner Thomas and the Lawlor brothers are going pro so I really hope to see some new big swinging amateurs next year!!!

I had a great time at the whole event! It was an awesome experience combining all the great riders, the clinic on Friday and then joining for my first competition on Saturday. I will definitely be back next year.
