2022 Jet Blaster

It looks like Yamaha is about to compete with the Sea Doo Spark and make a half hearted attempt to revive the Waveblaster, but instead naming it "Jet Blaster". Calling it a "freestyle" ski is beyond laughable. At least they didn't call it, "Waveblaster" because that would have really brought shame to the Waveblaster's excellent reputation. I personally am not excited at all about this turd of a ski, but I guess they have to make it big (nearly 230 lbs heavier than the Waveblaster) with a 4 stroke TR1 engine so they can sell as many units as they can, make it easy to ride for anyone and everyone, and meet EPA requirements since 2 stroke PWCs are gone.

Figured I'd share this with all of you, but in my opinion, none of these new "Jetblasters" or Superjets will hold a candle anywhere to the original Superjets or Waveblasters. But hey, look at the bright side, it'll make the value of our machines only go up.

It's kinda cool, but it's not for us. If I were to buy a little sitdown, this would probably be on the top of my list. Beginners and people new to jet skis would probably love it. My 21 Superjet has provided a ton of smiles to people new to jet skis, and it has provided them a lot of confidence to be able to ride it.

So Sea-Doo made a jet pontoon boat and Yamaha does this for 2022. These really are strange times. I do like the colors though.

Almost a really cool couch. It just feels like they don’t want to take any risks or do anything too different.
