Went riding on July 4th, took out the superjet and the kawasaki. About 45min into riding the SJ died completely when I was going back to shore. Checked and im getting NO spark, to sometimes a small spark.
Heres what Ive tried so far;
Cut back the plug wires
Changed out the 10A fuse
Checked all the grounds
Looked for water under the stator cover, its dry
Tried new plug boots
Tried new spark plugs
I can feel a small about of electricity when I pull the plug boots off, but other than that its not strong enough to make a good enough spark.
Not sure if my CDI just flat out died, or if my coil is weak? Any idea's? The ski ran fine and had a good strong spark when I first got her. Its a 1990 SN SuperJet.
