300 cyl stuck to cases

The piston moves fine, just can't break the cyl free... Tried PBS blaster, hammered a lot.drilled thru the casting to the studs, and put some lube in there....it's been soaking for some time, tried heat, air hammer...don't see how I could use a puller without pushing on the piston....any ideas?

i made a cylinder puller for kawi 650 750 800 by taking an old head and threading the spark plug holes for huge long bolts, then thread them into the pistons evenly and it lifts the cyl off the studs. you could probably make a plate for that 300 instead of using an old head. if you dont want to ding the piston, put a washer between the bolt and piston.

Yes, this is how....I tapped out the spark plug hole to match a big slide hammer....slammed it about twenty times and got it to move...never came across something so stuck....I have a .060 piston to put in once I get it bored...has anyone done this before? Will I need to get the cases clearanced? Thanks for the offer suprax, I think I have one that will work...

I had to clearance my case for the 3rd overbore on my 550's, you will just need to measure it. I would check that crank out if you were hammering away on it, it just takes one nick on the bearing surface to cause you big problems.
