hey guys i just bought a js440 with a 94 650sx engine in it. the ski was sitting on this guys side yard for 10 years without being ran. i put gas in it and she fired right up. my question is did anyone make an aftermarket bottom for these hulls? ill post up some pics but its wider, and about 3" longer.

There was a company that made a bottom kit that you basically glued to the bottom of your existing hull. Think the name was venture hulls or something similar.

So I thought I'd update I rode the ski it handles great! A little cool thing I found out is the ride plate fits a superjet also.

I ran a Solas 13/18 in my 650 powered 550 and it was definitely way under propped. I ended up with a straight 17.5 with ocean pro nozzles. If you have anything done to that 650, definitely prop up. If you have a 28mm carb and stock exhaust on it though, it's very likely that the pump just needs resealed.
