440 to 550??

I guess I'll be the first to mention that there's a search button at the top of the page....

a swap is as simple as
1 buy pistons and cylinder
2 install on 440 bottom end
3 drink beer.
but I honestly don't think your going to notice that much of a gain if any with a 550. Maybe a few horsepower gain. money would be better spent rebuilding that 440 and tuning that setup. That would be your best option.
if you really want power sell off that entire setup you got and buy a reed 650/750 even a reed 550 would be better then any piston port you could get.
