44mm blackjack carbs

Was wondering what everyone's thoughts on the dual 44 blackjack carbs are? Got a set for cheap a couple years ago on ebay and was thinking of putting them on my 750sx. Currently have dual 46mm carbs on there. Haven't seen too many people talk about the blackjacks in a long time just stuff from super old posts. Is Art from jetworks still around and are people still using them currently also curious on maybe some jetting recommendations. I put new throttle shafts and plates since the old ones had a lot of play side to side and the throttle shaft seals were bad. Just moved to Hot Springs, Arkansas recently and was wondering wondering if anyone else rides stand ups around here.

As far as I know Art is still around , head on over to the link and do some reading on the carbs, everyone around here in my old group ran them with great success , I have installed a few sets and tuned them, (by tuning I mean adjusting the screws, every carb I ever got from him was jetted pretty much spot on right out of the box ) they pull off of the bottom as well or better than any other setup I have seen , matter of fact I have one of his 44 Blackjack setups on a Seadoo 800 XP I am working on now , Art built the entire engine and the power of this thing is phenomenal , but yeah give Art a call and he can give you jetting specs for your setup or I am sure if you send him the carbs and tell him your setup, he can rejet them for you as well.

BrapJacks are kick ass carbs IMO especially for the price. Night and day difference in throttle response and overall power, plus they are reliable. Art is the man, and if he answers the phone be ready to spend some time and listen up! I've had great success with dual 44's and 46's.

The only set I ever had issues with someone tried to hook them up like a stock , master-slave carb setup, they are not designed to run that way and of course they didn't run that way , replumbed them correctly and it ran perfectly .

People must really like them as I never see a set for sale.. and I have been keeping an eye out :D
I found those dual 44s on ebay for i think $360 they were pretty clean looking but I ended up replacing the throttle shafts and valves since there was a lot of end play side to side and you could see they were leaking air around the seals on the shafts and the sides of the throttle plate.
