SXR 44silvers on Sxr

Do sbn 44 silver carbs bolt directly onto a stock Sxr intake . I mean the bolt pattern .

Nope. The stock sxr 40mm I series mikuni carbs have a staggered bolt pattern kind of like Keihib carbs. They make manifolds to fit 44s, 46s etc to fit sxr cases though.

those may work but bolt pattern on keihin might be different than mik I body?
not 100% sure but i think rhaas has adapters for that.

I have a R&D intake for 44s it's in perfect shape. 90 shipped

Another thing to think about is 44's require 2 pulse fittings as both carbs have fuel pumps. Stock 40i carbs only have 1 fuel pump

Scorn , I bought the r&d spacer plates that will give it 2 pulse. Last year. I'm very slow on this project.
The ski has a dry pipe so 44's should be right at home.

The xft got 49 full speck.

So I want to 44 duel sbn the 800 . The 800 has a dry pipe .

Just buy an AM intake manifold for the 800 motor.

I always like the Stock carbs on my SXR. But I was racing stock. Easy to remove for jetting changes.

If you can set up 44's for 120 centers you can get the R&D quick change manifold

I would hope the bigger carbs would somehow help with the dry pipe power surge at 3/4 throttle,
Bone stock the niece liked it, with the dry pipe "hit"
She doesn't want to ride.
