Super Jet 45 Elbow to waterbox , Factory pipe

Hey guys,

I trimmed the pipe already, just wanna make sure before trimming some more and messing it up, is this an acceptable kink? Or could I get it better?

I'm sure you could run it and it would be fine, but its probably no optimal. I'm not an exhaust guru tho.

Maybe someone else will chime in.

Ive wondered the same i didnt like the kink. In mine and used a 45 off a stock hose

I had the same kink, It worked fine, but i end up buying a new silicon hose with a bigger bend in it.

IMO no kink is acceptable. I'd trim more, it might not make a huge difference but at least you know it will be done right.

I don't have FP but when I was installing my red pipe I had the same issue. I went down to NAPA and asked for some 45 degree bend radiator hose of the same diameter...took home several style and found the one that worked for me. Returned the rest. It ran fine with the kink but drove me up a wall everytime I looked at it.

You invested in a FP, run the system the proper way!
