Changing up the exhaust on the jetmate and looking to make her quieter. Anyone play with the 4stroke resonators? Do you think it would make much difference?

Here is one off a STX Ultra:

On the skis they do knock the decibel level down quite a bit, the Yamaha XLT 1200s have something similar also and of course most of the Seadoos have resonators all over the place.

I think the Yamaha stuff is much bigger than that, more like 3 inches, , I can check the seadoo exhaust pipe sizes tomorrow, I know I have a bunch of resonators I pulled out of my 3D when I was converting it over to run a 951 carb engine. These are two stroke resonators but if they will fit they can be yours for the price of shipping.

That would be great thank you!

Ok the 3D hoses are 2 3/4" so to use anything off of that you would need silicone adaptors, I have some GTX RFI stuff that might have a smaller exhaust hose size. I can check tomorrow for you. I have gutted a lot of these hulls of the plastic resanotors over the years so I have quite a bit to look through here. Below are the pieces you would need to make that happen.

Sorry for the late reply, I have a lot on my plate anyway here is what I have here right now. As you can see the two large pieces fit together, if you have the space that one will provide the most sound deadening, the small one you can use but you would need to put a tee inline to use it, the other one is off a Yamaha and the exhaust hose size is huge.

Inlet outlet sizes one the large ones one is 2 1/2 inlet 3 1/4 outlet, the other is 3 1/4 inlet and 2 3/4 outlet like I said they can be use separately or together. The small one is 2 1/2 and you need a tee to run it, it won't do a lot, the Yamaha one is 4" inlet and outlet.

Damn near the size of the one that came on my truck! I appreciate you digging these out. Take care of your fam and I will reach out to you in a few weeks. Currently still need to dig out foam and see if I can make room in that area for one. :)
