o.k. my freakin eyes are getting very tired from all the reading. i'm putting together a 61x bottom with a 760 top end. i have not done any porting to this cylinder. do i need to?

its going in my freeride blaster, factory pipe, ltd chamber, factory waterbox, protec mod to the cdi, single 44. btw i only ride in the ocean.

is ti going to run right without the porting? or will it need to be done...... any good info would be greatly appreciated..

A stock 760 cylinder will run fine as long as its not overpropped. The slight lag in throttle response you get with higher port cylinders are not much of an issue for blasters. Make sure it turns close to 7000 rpm and you will be very happy. A ported cylinder should make around 10 more HP with the same prop spinning a little faster.

i don't remember the pitch but it is a solas bottom end prop, i think its somewhere around 9/17. it had a great "hit" for four years, before the the rod finally went through the cases...
