The spot on top if the starter?
so the fitting on the side is for the positive (RED) cable. there are going to be two or three eyelets on the back of the starter. I forget exactly how it looks... but there are two eyelets that bolt to the cases. IF there is a third eyelet on your starter it goes there. OTHERWISE, the negative cable can just bolt up to the cases.... since that is a ground.
