61x FP manifold on a 62t cylinder

I got an awesome deal on a b pipe, but the manifold is a 61x, and I have a 62t cylinder

My 62t cylinder is helicoiled for M8 exhaust bolts, so I will not need to drill the holes larger in the manifold.

However, I know the ports are different. Will it be fine if I just bolt it up, or should I send my manifold off to be port matched to a 62T cylinder?

I am going to be doing the same thing, and as far as I was told by the builder who is doing my porting match up a 62t gasket and grind to fit with a dremmel etc. He said it doesn't need to be perfect in terms of angles.

That's right, you can easily "dremmel" it out to fit the 62T gasket. You might need to glue the gasket to the cylinder or manifold before installation for proper alignment, since the gasket has larger holes than the fasteners you'll be using. A gasket cement such as Permatex "High Tack" would work nicely.
