62t cases

Hey guys, I bought a ski a few years ago and am rebuilding it for the first time this year. I’ve rebuild Kawasaki 550 and 650 motors as well as a 61x 701 motor. While rebuilding this full 62t motor the cases look very different than the 61x. It looks almost like there was some work done on the intake and cases but I really have no clue. Might be damage possibly or maybe the way it’s made. Just hoping somebody here might be able to clue me in on why it’s like that. I’ve included pics take a look. Thanks guys!!

Looks like somebody ported the cases (looks like subpar work) and roughed up the intake runners.
