62t piston issues

Bought a used 62t for an older sj. Starts up and idles fine runs fine. Disassembled to check some leaks around header and the mag side piston has some 2 chips in top edge of piston that pinged around in the head a bit. First off what could of caused that? Secondly just thinking new pistons and rings should be good, cylinder walls still look good.

Pieces of crank bearings getting barfed up.
Just did a little preventative look around in one of mine that I thought was fine until I saw that. Turned out to need a center main bearing.
