62t vs 61x FP Exhaust Manifold

Now I know the bolt sizes are different and everyone always talks about drilling out the holes on the 61x manifold or using inserts on the 62t cylinder, but occasionally someone will bring up the fact that the ports don't match up properly. Is this true? I wasn't able to find much discussion about this so I figured I would ask. Thanks.

The exhaust port roof is 2mm higher on the 62T cylinder and if you have to enlarge the manifold you might as well make the mounting holes bigger.

I think as far as the manifold goes, the only difference is the hole size. I am pretty sure the port location/size is the same.

not so,o is right,just overlay the two gaskets you will see the difference,height,bolt diameter,cooling passage etc,probly why fpp made two different type's check group k they have some good info on this subject

I just drilled mine out to the 10 mm bolts.
