650sx impeller problem. Please help

87 650sx. starts up and idles fine. When opening the throttle it wont go right away. Its random when it wasnt to go. When its going it will randomly stop and idle. Checked in the impeller and nothing is wrapped around it. Any ideas of what it could be or where to start?

What makes you think it has some thing to do with the impeller? Is it cavitating? If you think the shaft is getting stuck it may be bad mid shaft or pump bearings. They go bad a lot on the kawis. If it has more to do with the engine you could have something blocking one of the jets in the carb.
