Other 650sx Question

Hey Guys,

I am looking at buying a Kawasaki 650sx and the ad says it has lots of extras. Wondering if anyone can confirm this for me

This is what the ad says: Lots of extras, R&D Intake Grate, Team Butch Ride Plate, Quick Turn Steering, Ocean Pro Head, Ocean Pro Flame Arrestor, 44mm Carb Single, West Coast Exhaust and water box, New Turf.

Ill post some pics also, just curious if the engine is stock or not. He did a compression test and both cylinders are just over 160PSI

It looks like good stuff for a 650. Thats a good reliable compression too. Depending on what he is asking for it, It looks like decent ski

Is that an aftermarket Head, Exhaust, and Carb?

Head and exaust are. The carb is, aftermarket its almost twice as big as the carbs they come with. Stock they come with Keihkin 28, Thats a 44. Looks like a real nice reliable ski. Whats he askiing? Your pics dont show the quick steer though.

Yeah he is around that 1000 dollar mark. Will this ski pull pretty good? I have never road a 650, just know they are light and easy to toss around. I have an SXR 800 and sold my superjet last year. Just trying to get into a cheaper ski and was debating on this or a 750

I'm not sure about your area but In Colorado You can pick those up all day long for about 400 to 600. If you really like the ski go for it, but I think you can find some really good deals expesaly this time of the year.

650's are topically dogs but if you get some good mods on it like the one your looking at, they pull pretty good but 750 will be all around quite a bit faster. For 1000 bucks you could find a nice sn 701 ski too.
