6m6 to 62t electronics

Gonna be swapping out the 650 for a 701. Can I just swap out the CDI or do I need the complete E-Box for the higher rev limit?

No, you need not swap out the E box! For that matter, there is not that much diff. in 6m6 versus 61x rev limit, leave the cdi alone, some day you may wish to have the rev limit raised on your cdi- that can wait.

Thanks for the reply. Will a 701 CDI be a straight swap with the 650 CDI ( same connections) ?

61x/6m6 cdi is a easy straight swap, 62T cdi has different white plug I believe

You can swap the 62t you just need to change the connector of the white wire
