1995 701 61x stopped running and I determined it was one of the carb diaphrams since it had a hole in it. I put a kit in it and the engine will run great on the trailer. Trouble is, when I took it for a test ride, it took off like a scalded dog for about 20 seconds then began to bog out. If I keep throttle applied it will die. If I let off it will idle fine but no acceleration without bogging.
What does this sound like to you guys?
I have good fuel supply up to the carb barb. And fuel from the return line when running. The kit did have the fuel pump parts also, which were installed
