701 front seal question

Hi guys, I just installed new seals on a rebuilt sbt/ jet maniac crank (Thanks for the quickness JM) Is it common that the front seal is a tight fit on crank?

Lube it up with grease or two stroke oil before putting it together.

Yeh did that the front just felt a little tighter....is it a big deal if no grease is on seals?
