I took off my flywheel cover and there was oil in it. It smells and looks like motor oil. Does 2 stroke oil eventually look like motor oil. I dont think the crank seal is leaking it looks good but theres a bunch of this oil all other the stator and what not is it supposed to be there or do you think the guy that had it before me put motor oil in it.

I would clean out the oil and run it. If it comes back you know you have a bad crank seal because there's nowhere else for oil to come from.

Sometimes the oil comes out of a bendix after someone has soaked them in oil.
