Super Jet 701 Super Jet Throttle Responce ?

I was just wondering.....

My super jet has a crazy power band that comes on @ 1/4 throttle that rips your arms off but my friend says it should just rip from the start...

Factory B pipe Screws to specs bottom at 1 turn I believe
Impros 9/15 Hooker Impeller
Jet Works flow control valve set @ 1/4 throttle
2 mesh screens removed for more air...

I'm in Montana @ 3300'

Any advise or is this Normal? and also My buddy has a 2013 that acts the same with the same mods.

If you're running stock jetting, that's very likely your problem. You are supposed to increase the pilots from 70 (stock) to 75 and drop the popoff from 55 psi to XX psi (can't remember) by using 95g springs instead of the 115g springs (stock).

Thanks Matt! I'll give it a go. Basically I was curious about the responce and pretty much says it should go like a bat out of hell from the start lol
