Super Jet 701 weastcoast head ,, off of a wetjet Kraze ?

bought a engine off a memeber here .. very nice engine out of a wetjet Kraze .. with the tall intake and 46mm carb .. also had this westcoast head . I cleaned it up a bit ,,, numbers on head are mm 9103505 ,, numbers on domes 9103 5051 00 WJ

asuming it may be original from the WJ since it has WJ on the domes ? but seems like it has been repainted to match the cyinder colours as the head bolt tops are painted as well .. anyways cleaned it up and scraped off teh paint on teh raised parts of teh head for contrast .. want to leave it this colour as it shows it as off of a wetjet Kraze

hp shows on a online search at 75 hp ? but that is with wetjet pipe ? wondering what it would be like if we run stock 701 pipe ..

any info I may not already know apreciated ...

engine to go into my sons SN SJ ..

we are also looking for a complete B pipe to complete the ski ..

a boost in compression will always help however with the stock exhaust i doubt that you will feel it.

Ok so I am hoping I dont get more than 180 psi per side as i want to use pump gas ( premium ) ,,
thinking about using teh stock wetjet head .. does anyone know what kind of compresion can be expected with that head ? .. I dont have a used gasket but will try and get my hands on one so that I can bolt up each head and get a check on each .. then use teh new gasket to boltthe one on of choice .. .. so many kawi gaskets laying around here but no yamaha !
Oh ,.. and we just bought a B pipe to complete our sn sj build

well ill take that westcoast head if you dont want it:wiggle: you should be fine at 180.

The stock Wetjet domes should make 160-170psi. Make sure to use a 61X gasket or match drill water passages in a 62T gasket. Use only OEM or those green A/M gaskets. Any A/M gasket with graphite will destroy the metal surfaces.
