750 sp bore limit?

I seached and can't really find a good answer....

My 750 is already +1mm and super slopped out. Can I go to +2mm?
What is the max SAFE bore on a 750 small pin?

I think its to 82.5 before you need to resleeve.

If possible have your machinist fit your piston with no more than .005 clearance. Between .004-.005 would be ideal and will save your cylinders excess wear. You will be safe at +2 mm without a doubt

I'm interested to know this as well. I see kits with Pistons all the way to +5.5mm? i want all the wahpow I can out my motor.

Cant remember where i read this but im pretty sure you have to resleeve to go over 82.5 or 83

Wiesco website said anything 83 to 85.5 need to resleeve.

Ok I don't wana sound stupid but what's ment by resleeving? Is that like starting over? Or can go even bigger?

The sleeve is a cast iron cylinder wall pressed in to the aluminum housing. It has to be done by a machinist. If you bore to much the sleeve wall becomes to thin therefore you put a thicker sleeve in to be able to bore it larger

What happens to the ports when goin to the extreme on piston size? I'm new to 2 strokes

They will have to be rematched to the new sleeve. Almost never willthey be perfectly matched. They are usually done with porting tools.
