750 sxi pro starting problem

I ride it for an hour or so, then beach it for about 20-30 minutes, then fire it up....it idles OK, but if I give it throttle it dies.
It will die 2 or 3 times, then it will run OK again..........until I beach it for half hour, then it will do the same thing!!!!:banghead:
It is stock except for Mikuni 44's, Ocean Pro flame arrestors, Coffmans pipe.
Any ideas on what is causing this problem?

Georges, That was the same with my SXi that I sold, you have to choke the Kawi 750's when they have cooled down or sit for some reason.

Thanks, I did go riding today (with my GP1200....sshhhhhh), and yesterday on the SXI PRO.
I am currently in Muskegon Michigan for another month or so. My mother in law is not doing very well, so we came up here so my wife can be with her and sort of take care of her. The best thing I did was bring my skis with me and you know what is the greatest thing?.......You don't have to flush them after a ride!!!!!:Banane09:
I am gettting better on the sxi every day and I love it! Lookout, I just ordered a helmet, I have done way too many "almost" face plants (on both skis)!
There is a great event up here in 2 weeks : "Wave rave". It's all standups and for the second year, I believe they had close to 100 skis last year!!!:headbang: You should come up!

I have the exact same problem with my 02 sxi pro, choke removed and a primer installed.

Yup! I'm maybe thinking theres a water bubble in the gas. It's such an annoying little problem. I used to own a 95 sxi, same silly problem.

Mine is doing the same thing well similar but mine wont start at all now. i was riding and it acted like it wasnt getting gas so i took the carbs off and its getting fuel. I just bought a 99 750 sxi pro and it has compression fresh gas and spark and wont even start if i put ether or gas in the cylinder. i was thinking maybe a stator issue. dont think its the flywheel. it has a lightweight flywheel and ran great the first few days. could it be the stator from not seeing a lot of ride time in the last few years????? please help i dont know what could be going on
