SX/SXi/SXi Pro 750sx refoam and footholds

Here is my 750 that I bought at the start of last season. She has always sat really low in the water and been really heavy so I decided it was a great ski to use for a first project before I upgrade to a RN. I am re-foaming and adding footholds. I plan on replacing the impeller (still looking for one if anyone has one) adding RN handle pole, and adding dual cooling. This is my first project of this nature so I am excited to keep moving along. I have heard the best way to remove the last bit of foam is to use a power washer and or a wire wheel. The left side of the hull is the easy part, I am just having trouble with the right side where the exhaust is mounted.

I am slowly making progress. Between working full time, going to school full time and my senior project the ski is not getting the attention that she needs. So this is how I will be spending my spring break 2013!! in the Basement sanding away!!! Here are a couple more updated pictures of her current state.

This is sick. I love it!
I've been out of the jet skiing scene for over 12 years or so. I will be getting my '92 750 stand up ride worthy. I would like tp update mine with the latest mods like the footholders you are doing. I have some questions if you don't mind?
Where did you get the footholders from?
Is cutting the tray to refoam strickly for removing the water soaked stock foam?
What is a nose job that MikeyB is referring to?

why did you cut so much of the top deck off for those footholds? .... im guessing there is a reason, lol. im working on the bottom of my '93 sx hull right now, but plan on footholds and sponsons as a winter project. please let us know how your project goes

@Constntparty he said back in the beginnin of the thread the ski sat low in the water due to the foam being water logged, so you have to remove all the foam! im guessing by the dates that this project is long done or died.. Looked like a nice atart though
