Hey guys. We just bout a 92 750sx last summer. It had less than 50 hours on it and ran amazing last summer. Fogged it down and put fuel stabalzier before winter. Brought it out two days ago, been riding it hard since. Just put new fuel in tonight mixed 36:1 and rode it hard. Thing was running great then on a sharp turn with the front end submereged it bogged down, came back up and killed.
Tried starting it and nothing. Swam it back to my house, thought maybe i had sucked water up in the motor so i pulled the plugs and turned it over. No water or nothing so put the plugs back in and tried starting. Seemed like it wasn't getting any fuel, pulled the choke and let some fuel get in the carb to see if it would run on that then i could narrow down my problem further. After letting some fuel in the carb, turned it over it started first crank and went WFO. Revved to the moon, way higher then it should at WOT and sounded super lean! Kill switch wouldn't kill it, pulling the coil off plug wouldn't kill it either. I pulled the plug quick and that shut it down. Didn't blow up!
Any ideas? I have no idea why it would go wide open and not shut off. The ski has very few hours and is very well taken care of. I know it doesn't have the stock filter, not sure about the carb.
