So I struggled with my SXR last fall which had a factory Dry pipe on it. It could never get it tuned right, and the O-Rings would always blow out. This winter I decided to bring my ski to Zack at Powerhouse Performance in Plymouth, WI. He suggested a wet pipe, full cylinder/case port job and bump up in compression. I brought my motor to him and had him do everything listed. My ski is so much better right off the bat. It has tons more low end and screams on top. I have a skat-trak 13-18 cut back prop and first time out I could get 7,550rpm consistantly! The ski is way better than its ever been. The low end is so much fun for play-riding and will be great out on Lake Michigan. My brother's ski also has a wet pipe, but stock motor, and my ski has tons more power with the porting and compression. Just food for thought if anyone is looking to get more out of the 800 motor.
