85 js550 swap into 91 js440

Well i have a couple of question that google cant seem to answer for me, so i have a 85 js550 with a good working motor that i pulled and want to put in my new to 91 js440 with a rear exhaust... now for this swap i have a couple of questions.....


can the 440 ebox be used on the 550 engine?

also noticed my 85 550 hull has the two piece motor mounts as my 440 hull has the one piece.. do i have to swap these out?

Yes you can use the same ebox and no you don't have to use the old mounts. Easy 2-3 hour swap start to finish

I did this on mine, I used the 550sx ebox since mine included it. If not you should be able to use the old ebox no problem.
