92 750sx two brass spacers?

I recently bought a 92 750sx in decent shape for the price and I’ve been messing around with it and trying to get it running right but I found these two (I’ll call them spacers or standoffs) floating around in the compartment I’ve been taking apart and cleaning things so I’m not sure if I took them off of something and didn’t see them fall or what? Any help
Would be appreciated

New to this forum so I apologize if I’m in the wrong section

Also everywhere online I’ve seen says to start with the low/high speed both at 7/8ths but it won’t even start at that so I have the bottom about 3 1/4 turns out and I’ve gotten it to idle relatively smoothly on the hose. I’m assuming I may have too small of a jet for the low speed?

If you're over 2 turns, 2 1/2 being the max, you should Jet up.

If I’m opening up the carb I mine as wel rebuild it right? I have a rebuild kit that was from a js550 and if I’m reading correctly the kit may work on this carb too?doesnt specifically say so I’m not sure it says 12-1455 on the rear of packaging and says it’s for MK-BN38/44 but I think I have a BN40 it’s a stock single carb

That is a Round Body(RN) Mikuni (1980s). They went to the Square Body (SBN) for all the 750s I know of.

You should take some pics of your setup, then people with more knowledge of 750s can answer your questions... :) I'm an SXR 800 an 550 guy.
