Super Jet 92 sj seems like it is running hot!! HELP

I just put my old 650 motor in my buddy's sn for him, and when took it out to tune it, it seems like the water coming out of the pisser is hotter than it should be. you can only put your hand in the stream for about 3 or 4 seconds, then it will start to burn. Every time I bring the ski back in to check the motor, I splash water on the motor and pipe, and it does not sizzle but it does steam a little bit. You can touch the motor for a few seconds as well. The thing I don't understand is it seems to have good water flow, and the plug color is running richer than leaner. Any help would be appreciated!! Also the water temp i was in was around 85 degrees (shallow lake in florida), and it seems to have good power, does not hesitate or bog at all

sbn 44 with k&n flame arrestor
135 main jet
120 pilot
1.5 n&s
32 psi pop off
both screws are arond 1.5 turns out

did the ski previously have a 701 dropped in it? if so, I'm thinking that maybe the prop is now too steep?

the water coming out will always be hot especially in warmer water/weather, when its 92* and 97% humidity the water coming out the motor will generally burn my leg if i turn the right way but the motor is still the usual temp for that weather, as long as your not melting things you should be ok, check to make sure there isnt dirt or weeds blocking the water inlets in the pump by blowing through them with compressed air, if its hot out things WILL run a bit hotter

as long as you have water flow you should be in good shape. when the pissers don't piss, then be scared
