SX/SXi/SXi Pro '93 750 SX weak spark

Just installed a timing advance plate and now seem to have weak spark. I did remove the temp sensor by just unpluging it.

1.Do I have a bad coil?
2.Is it because of thee unpluged sensor?
3.Is the timing plate somehow the culprit?

try removing the spark plug caps and cutting back some the spark plug wire.
the inner wire may have cracks in them.
use a little pair of needle nose pliers to pull on the silver inner wire before you put the sprak plug caps back on.
the wire may still be broke way down inside.

if that's the case, get a new oem coil.
there only about $80 new.
