SX/SXi/SXi Pro 93 750sx - Tray Widening??

First post to these fourms....

I'm in the process of a full build on a 750 I picked up this summer. Did some fiberglass repair work up front and will be repainting the whole ski very soon.

Obviously there is no shortage of posts regarding footholds, but I'm curious if anyone here has widened their tray an inch or so on either side... and if so, how? Trying to get an idea if its something worth doing or not.

A little wider is more comfortable for me. I like to leave the top half of the gunwale in place and mold in slots that I can put my foot under. Its very comfortable and easy to keep your feet in the tray when jumping. The only problem on a 750 is the storage tubes are in the way. Its kind of a big job so be sure about what you want.
